  • Keep away from children and pets.

  • Always use within sight and never leave unattended.

  • Always ensure that you do not overfill your bowl

  • Wax will remain hot after the tea light has been extinguished / burner has been switched off.

  • Do not try to move the burner until it has cooled completely and the wax has solidified.

  • Do not add water or fragrance oils to the bowl

  • Use unscented tea lights

  • Use standard sized tea lights (burn time is approx. 4hrs).  Never use the larger 8hr tea lights!

  • Ensure that the surface under the melter is heatproof.

Removing old wax from your burner..

Once your wax has solidified, relight your tea light or turn on your electric burner for a short period of time. This will start to heat the bottom of the wax and allow you to slide it out. You can then wipe the remaining wax residue from the burner.

Do not pour melted wax down your plughole as it will cause a blockage once it hardens.

Wax Pots

A Little Melties wax pot will provide fragrance for approximately 80 hours. We recommend cutting your pot into small portions, possibly quarters so you don’t overfill your wax bowl and you can change your fragrance regularly. Your wax can be re-melted numerous times once it has solidified until the fragrance has faded. A simple kitchen knife will do the job however we do sell wax cutters if you prefer.

The packaging for our Little Melties pots are made out of recycled sugar cane, not plastic and are therefore compostable and biodegradable.

Before disposing of the pot and lid, please remove all labels. If you have a compost heap at home, your pot can be placed in it. If your food waste is collected separately, you can dispose of the pot in your food waste.

If you don't have either, please dispose the pot in the general waste bin and it will biodegrade in landfill.

Our pots have all the correct markings to confirm they are compostable.
